Supplies

On the Maratrail, SEMI-AUTONOMY is the rule. Refreshment stations are stocked with drinks and food to be consumed on site. The organisers only provide water or energy drinks for refilling water bottles or hydration packs. Runners must ensure that they have enough drink to last them until the next refreshment station when leaving each one. For slower runners, the longest sections without refreshments can last up to 4 hours. The first 42 km section of the Ultra-Trail, Ultra-Randonnée and Relais is in the same situation. Three refreshment stations are planned:

-P1: Bac de Cortal Bosso – KM 7

-P2: Refuge de Bésines – KM 14

-P3: Refuge des Camporells – KM 35

However, the principle of SEMI-SELF-SUFFICIENCY applies to all Ultra-Trail, Ultra-Randonnée and Relay events after the Formiguères base camp at approximately kilometre 42 until the finish in Salses-le-Château.

Semi-self-sufficiency is defined here as the ability to be self-sufficient between two base camps open during the race (closing times for each base camp are scheduled according to the time barriers communicated before the start), where participants have free access to beds and meals. They also have their light bags. The time spent using the beds may be limited depending on how busy they are.

There are 4 base camps:

-P4: Formiguères – KM 42

-P7: Mosset – KM 87

-P10: Bélesta – KM 130

-P14: Vingrau – KM 183

However, competitors will be able to obtain water and access toilets at autonomous refreshment points located at the following locations:

-P5: Puyvalador – KM 52

-P6 – Callau Refuge – KM 69

-P8 – Campoussy – KM 104

-P9 – Trévillach – KM 119

-P11 – Monntner – KM 147

-P12 – Latour-de-France – KM 150

-P13 – Mas Janell – KM 165

-P15 – Périllos – KM 196

-P16 – Feuilla – KM 220
