Registration for the Maratrail, Ultra-Trail, Ultra-Randonnée and Relais events will be available on the website https://pyreneeschrono.fr on 1 December 2025 at 12:00 noon via direct purchase, without pre-registration or a draw.

Registration conditions

Registrations can be made until Sunday 16 August 2026 or until all places are filled. Once the quotas have been sold, it is up to the organisation to decide whether to increase them or offer registrations. There is no waiting list.

Registration is open to anyone, male or female, born in the year indicated:

Maratrail: minimum age 20 (born on or before 6 September 2006).

Ultra-Trail: minimum age 21 (born on or before 6 September 2005).

Relay: minimum age 20 (born on or before 6 September 2006).

Ultra-Randonnée: minimum age 21 (born on or before 6 September 2005).

To register for the Ultra-Trail, competitors must provide proof of recent experience in an ultra-distance race. It is necessary to have a valid UTMB® Index in the 100K or 100M categories or to have obtained a minimum of 4 ITRA points in a race during the last 3 years.

To register for the Relay and the Maratrail, each competitor must provide proof of recent experience in a trail race. It is necessary to have a valid UTMB® Index in the 20K category at a minimum or to have obtained a minimum of 1 ITRA point in a race during the last 3 years.

It is also recommended that you have a UTMB® Index or ITRA performance index of at least 400 to ensure optimal safety conditions during the Ultra-Trail and the Relay. With a lower UTMB® Index or ITRA performance index, it is likely that the competitor will spend too much time alone between two refreshment points or aid stations, which could put them in danger after the first aid station.

To register for the Ultra-Randonnée, each competitor must be fully aware of the length and specific nature of the event in which they are participating, even though no experience or performance criteria are required. Competing in teams of two or three inseparable individuals provides additional safety, but does not exempt competitors from preparing appropriately for this type of event.

To confirm their registration, each competitor in the Maratrail, Ultra-Trail and Relay must provide proof of completion of the online Health Prevention Course (PPS) focused on risk awareness and best health practices in sport within three months prior to the event.

To validate their registration, each participant in the Ultra-Randonnée must submit a specific medical certificate dated less than one year prior to the start date (Appendix 1 of the event rules).

Registration fees are variable and limited to a specific number of race numbers. Price brackets change when a predetermined number of registered runners is reached and may change rapidly.

As part of its commitment to promoting gender equality, the organisation has defined an incentive pricing policy that encourages the formation of mixed teams.
