Life bags

Participants in the Maratrail and Relay 1 will receive one 30-litre bag each. After filling it with the clothing and equipment they consider necessary, they will leave it at a location near the start line. The bag will be transferred by the organisers to the finish line in Formiguères. When they arrive, they can collect their bag.

Participants in Relays 2, 3, 4 and 5 will receive one 30-litre bag each, but no transfer service will be provided by the organisers. Each participant must make arrangements to wait for the team member from the previous relay to hand over their bag during the relay changeover.

Participants in the Ultra-Trail and Ultra-Hicking will receive two 30-litre bags each. After filling them with the clothing and equipment they consider necessary, they will leave them at a location near the start. One of the bags will be transferred by the organisation to the aid stations in Formiguères, then Bélesta, then to the finish line in Salses-le-Château, while the other will be transferred to the aid stations in Mosset, then Vingrau, then to the finish line in Salses-le-Château. When the runner arrives at the aforementioned base camps, they will be able to collect their bag. When the runner leaves the refreshment station, they must personally deposit the bag in the area designated for this purpose.

Bags must be collected upon arrival no later than 2 hours after the end of the events. After this time, runners must go in person to the storage location indicated by the organisation to collect their bags.

The organisation will ensure the return of bags belonging to runners who have withdrawn, provided that their withdrawal has been recorded. The time taken for bags to be returned depends on logistical constraints. The organisation cannot guarantee that all bags will be returned to Salses-le-Château before the end of the event.

Only bags provided by the organisation will be transported. Walking poles cannot be transported in these bags. As the contents of the bags are not checked, no complaints about the contents upon arrival will be accepted. It is recommended that you do not place any valuables in your bag.
