organised by the Horos association, promises a human adventure at the heart of history and territory. It lies at the crossroads between trail and ultra-hike, following the route that once marked the border between France and Catalonia for over 400 years, from 1258 (Treaty of Corbeil) to 1659 (Treaty of the Pyrenees).
There are two routes on offer:
Bélesta (km 130) and Vingrau (km 180) along the way.
is an association founded in 2022 by a group of history and hiking enthusiasts with a shared interest in the border route established by the Treaty of Corbeil in 1258 between France and Aragon. Our mission is to promote the historical and cultural heritage of this region through hikes, tours, conferences, and publications. We were so impressed by the beauty of the landscapes, the richness of the ruins and the discovery of the boundary stones that we decided to create an association to promote and protect this little-known route. We are a team of 14 active members from diverse professional and personal backgrounds, but united by our love of the border route.
